New additions to UK Section YouTube Channel

We’ve made some recent updates and additions to our YouTube channel, with more videos due to be uploaded in the coming weeks:

Several of our meetings have been recorded in recent times but some of those recordings have never been posted. Over the coming months we’re planning to add these to the library. You can receive alerts to new additions by subscribing and selecting that option.

To make access easier the playlists have been reorganised and we’ve added a new one: ‘Recommended Viewing’, featuring the best of the rest of AES.

  • Lectures – Audio technology theory, research and applications presented at UK Section meetings over the past few years;
  • General Interest – Presentations and panel sessions covering topics such as careers in audio and social issues affecting our industry, plus the ‘In Conversation with…’ series;
  • Recommended Viewing – Links to lectures from AES meetings around the world, along with selected highlights from AES conventions and talks given by eminent AES members at other events;
  • 2018 Mastering Conference – Highlights from the successful conference held in London in September 2018;
  • 2nd and 4th Workshops on Intelligent Music Production.

Anyone left hungry for more should explore the AES Live library of videos: www.aes.org/live, available free to AES members via the Member Portal at https://secure.aes.org/members/

UPDATE – 9th May: We’ve just added a classic lecture given to the UK Section London Group in June 2014 by two of our greatest experts in audio coding, Bob Stuart and Peter Craven, High-Resolution: Capturing the Moment, along with Mastered by Bob Ludwig: An Exploration of His Career and Techniques from the 2018 AES 145th Convention in New York.
