Streaming synchronised audio over wifi is challenging. Streaming
synchronised audio to multiple speakers is very hard. In this talk
technologist Brian Moller will cover the fundamentals of synchronised
audio over wifi, the techniques and pitfalls, and showcase some
technologies developed over many years across several companies.
Brian Moller is a Serial Entrepreneur and Innovator, based in Aarhus,
Denmark. His first company was within the Mobile Phone space
developing a gaming platform and application framework back in the
early 2000’s. That company was later acquired by Motorola. Brian then
moved into Audio and Video products, taking up the post of R&D
Director at Bang & Olufsen. There he fell in love with AV products and
triggered the start of his latest startup adventure Dynastrom focusing
on wireless streaming of Audio over Wi-Fi. In 2017 Dynastrom was
acquired by Roku. At Roku his team has developed a range of AV
products for worldwide markets, some of which have recently been
introduced into the UK.
